WHY MEASUREMENT MATTERS

Measure Twice. Order Once. Enjoy for Years.

The Measurement Isn’t Finished When the Tape Measure Is Put Away.

The Measurement Isn’t Finished When the Tape Measure Is Put Away.

Buying a new liner is a major investment. We take extra on-site verification steps so you don’t have to worry about installation delays, a poor fit, or wrinkles that are forever.

The Difference Is in the Details.

A mismeasured liner doesn’t just look bad—it wears out faster. In technical industry terms, we describe the pool below as “really bad.” We took over this severely wrinkled pool project, double-checked every single slope and angle right there at the job site, and provided a custom-fit replacement liner that laid perfectly smooth.

THE MEASUREMENT PROCESS IN ACTION

From the Pool to a Verified Manufacturer Drawing.

For pools that require detailed AB measurements, I enter the field measurements directly into CAD while I’m on site. This allows me to verify the geometry and catch any issues before the liner is ordered.

1

The Pool

This is the actual pool that was measured. Unique shapes, curves and features require accurate measurement.

2

Collected Data

Detailed AB measurements are collected and entered directly into CAD while I’m at the pool.

3

Manufacturer Drawing

The manufacturer creates a drawing from the submitted data. I carefully review the drawing and mark any issues that need to be corrected.

4

Finished Pool

After all measurements and details are verified, the liner is manufactured and installed. The result is a proper fit that looks the way it should.

MY MEASUREMENT PROCESS

Measure. Verify. Then Order.

1

Measure

Collect the measurements required for the pool.

2

Enter

For pools that require AB measurements, enter the data directly into CAD on-site.

3

Check

Review the geometry and look for anything that doesn’t make sense.

4

Correct

Remeasure questionable points while still at the pool.

5

Verify

Make sure the measurements and geometry agree before submission.

6

Order

The manufacturer creates the final approval drawing. I review it before the liner is ordered.

Why It Matters

Reduces the risk of fit issues

Catches questionable measurements early

Avoids unnecessary trips back to the pool

Helps ensure a longer lasting liner

Provides peace of mind
